Naseej and IDC signed a partnership with Nadeen school


Occupying a land of 17,462 m2 and accommodating 1,056 students of both genders

Naseej, Ithmaar Development Sign Agreement with Nadeen Holding to Establish ‘Nadeen School-Bahrain’ New Campus in Dilmunia Island

Naseej and Ithmaar Development Company  a leading real estate development companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently announced signing a partnership agreement , to establish Nadeen School-Bahrain in the heart of Dilmunia.

The agreement was signed at Naseej headquarters in Bahrain Financial Harbour by Ithmaar Development CEO Mr. Mohammed Khalil Al Sayed, Naseej General Manager Mr. Ahmed Al Hammadi and Nadeen Holding Managing Director Ms. Shanee Puri, stipulating that Naseej and Ithmaar Development Company are the two key investors in the project, while Nadeen Holding is the operator of the school, developed on a land of 17,462 square metres and over a total built-up area of 20,750 sqm.

The design work for the School’s campus and its main facilities is in advanced stages and is being carried out by the Mohamed Salahuddin Architects and Engineers Bureau (MSCEB), a leading engineering  firm in Bahrain with a solid and proven track record, , which will further contribute to the successful development of the school. Additionally, work is currently underway to obtain the school’s license from the Ministry of Education in Bahrain.


On this occasion, Ithmaar Development Company CEO Mr. Mohammed Khalil Al Sayed stated: “Dilmunia aspires to the integration of development projects on the Island. This is reflected by successfully completing negotiations to develop Nadeen School-Bahrain in partnership with Naseej. The establishment of the School in Dilmunia is a valuable addition to the assorted projects that make up the master plan for the Island, covering all residential, health, educational, recreational and commercial sectors.”

The CEO further said: “The establishment of the School’s operating company is an important milestone in the course of completing this international school, as the Nadeen School-Bahrain’s designs have come a long way and we hope to start the preliminary construction work before the end of the year. We are confident that this partnership, which combines the educational capabilities and expertise of Nadeen Holding with the development competences and expertise of both Naseej and Ithmaar Development Company, will certainly be able to achieve the objectives of the project and develop this distinguished educational facility.”

It is noteworthy that the new School has the capacity to accommodate 1,056 students of both genders and it includes all academic stages up to the ninth grade. The new campus will include a total of 44 classrooms with wide corridors and it is designed in a U-shape to include generous open spaces in line with the best international practices applicable in the most prestigious private schools, providing a high-quality and healthy learning environment for students and teachers.

Furthermore, Nadeen School-Bahrain also includes essential facilities such as laboratories, a two-storey library, a health centre, art halls, music studios, a semi-Olympic size swimming pool as well as a learning pool, and a large gymnasium and multi-use hall. As for the School’s external facilities, it encompasses a large open space that serves external education classes, gardens and educational centres to provide an integrated educational experience, supported by dedicated play areas that include a football field.

Nadeen School-Bahrain debuted in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the year 1978, accommodating 29 students of both genders and four teachers in its first headquarters in Gufool area in the Capital Governorate. Then, the School moved to its new location in Umm Al Hassam in 1979 and then shifted to its current location in 1988.

Nadeen School – Bahrain has an outstanding rating by The Education & Training Authority (BQA) and by the British Schools Overseas (BSO). The School currently has 400 students aged between 2 to 11 years (nursery up to sixth grade).
